The course provided good level of information. However the support I received from my tutor seemed negative and nit pick at times. There was very little info on the final microteach assessment and how it was going to be conducted. – How would you describe our performance overall?

We are sorry you did not have a good experience with us, Sinead, and will pass on your feedback to the tutor. However, we looked immediately at the responses you had from your tutor, and we can see it is constructive in enabling you to progress, but also developmental in helping you as a potential teacher. You may have missed all the information that was sent to you at the beginning of the course about the microteach and also again when you sent in your topic approval form, as this gives full details of what to expect. But we are very pleased for you that you successfully achieved the qualification and wish you all the best in your future training venture.

In general, the course has been fine. I have had no real issues along the way and have been happy with the support I received from my tutor. I think some of the course seems to be aimed at 'traditional' teaching approaches, and at time it has been tricky to transpose that to our practical based qualification. It has been a good challenge to work these approaches into our way of classroom delivery. – How would you describe our performance overall?

Hasu provided me with detailed and constructive feedback throughout my course. Hasu was also happy to speak to me via video call or over the phone to support me when I was unsure on how to meet the criteria. To be honest, now that I've received my certificate, I take back the positive feedback I previously gave my tutor. Towards the end of my course, while my tutor remained prompt in addressing my inquiries, I began to perceive a passive-aggressive tone in their email responses regarding various subjects. They frequently mentioned that they might be "repeating themselves" in their feedback, which left me feeling uneasy. On one occasion, after submitting an assignment, I was quoted as using the term "outlooks," but upon searching my document, I couldn't find any such word. Which left me puzzled.. Another occasion, when I asking for guidance, I received a response containing a conspicuous "YOUR" in all capital letters, which I felt it was confrontational. – How would you describe our performance overall?

We are so sorry you had this experience. If only you had contacted us earlier, we would have investigated and dealt with accordingly if anything was against our values. I am glad you achieved your qualification but the whole training experience should be a time of personal and professional development that leaves you feeling positive - and that is indeed the experience of most of our learners as can be seen from previous reviews.
