  2. I found the online course layout very difficult to navigate & consequently lost a lot of time scrolling back and forth trying to locate things . I was unaware when I booked through the Beauty Guild that the course was run by a third party that was aimed at all professions and the expected levels were far more academic than I expected. Big shock to the system having left school in 1986 with a handful of O’levels and having very limited IT experience. I would not recommend online learning in this instance, as a creative I feel an interactive classroom environment would have better suited me. I enjoyed the practical micro teach though. The admin support were kind and helpful. – How would you describe our performance overall?

      We are really sorry you did not have a positive online experience with us; we acknowledge that online learning is not always suited to everyone but most people choose it for its flexibility and access options. This AET course is aimed at those preparing to teach and focuses on giving you the basics to understand teaching approaches and apply those to your delivery of a micro teach.   4. I was apprehensive about studying this course online but those concerns soon faded once I had started the course. I had some changes in my personal situation which meant that I started and had a gap before being able to finish the course. The nature of studying online through MKLC was just perfect in this respect in that you can study around other commitments with no time pressures. The commitment from the tutors to mark the work quickly and to provide constructive, motivational feedback gave me the motivation to complete the course. I would definitely recommend MKLC and will be enrolling onto another course by the end of the year. – How would you describe our performance overall?

  13. The college was well organised. The course had a well planned structure for students to view to check they were on target. I think it is important to realise that some students have not studies for a number of years, there is a great deal of work to get through in a very short amount of time. Sometimes the feedback was not always clear. I felt I had to ask stupid questions because it was a new subject. It was difficult to access the + for feedback (infact it was impossible). I found myself having to ask the tutor to send it to me via email. Great support given for the Skype lesson and giving feedback immediately was also helpful for my next evaluation assignment.   32. I did a level 3 course last year online and had an awful experience. It took 5-7 days for them to respond to emails and 14-21 days to give feedback on assignments. Also my tutor went on maternity leave (no one told me) and after a month of chasing for feedback was told she had gone on maternity leave and her work split between others. Then I was told I had to pay £30 for my certificate which took another 3 months to arrive!! So I was very reluctant to do online courses again. MKLC have restored my faith in online courses and I would like to thank you for this positive experience, I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who asks me about online courses. – How would you describe our performance overall?
