Thank you for your feedback. We are reviewing the tutor's feedback to you to see how this can be improved. Students can call us directly if they need help as we are all qualified across all courses to do so but we are currently looking at ways of ensuring a more responsive learning experience for all students.

I was rather flattered by the tutor's responses to my work, however, I thought the compliments reflected dumbed-down educational standards rather than the quality of my submissions. When I first commenced sending drafts to the tutor, I had forgotten that the assessment would appear on the website, so I don't know what the response time was at that point. Once I began to check for responses on the website, though, I was dismayed by the length of time it took to mark the work. Latterly, the delay was more than two weeks, but the promises to mark work by a specified day - targets that were not delivered- increased the frustration. When I communicated with the office, this problem was dealt with most efficiently and with good grace. – How would you describe our performance overall?

We are glad you felt you were tested in this course and sorry you did not feel the quality of your submissions was adequately acknowledged. Unfortunately, the assessment is based on whether your work meets specified criteria, which are the standards set by the awarding organisation.
As soon as we were aware there was a delay in work being marked, we dealt with it immediately. This was due to unforeseen circumstances but tutors and students have now been asked to inform us directly if work is not marked within 48 hours. We understand it can be frustrating if you have to wait for any feedback and we want all students to have a positive learning experience with us.

I initially found some aspects difficult to navigate at the very beginning but had amazing support form my tutor that explained everything well and guided me fantastically. I found the access to Tutor support to be prompt and this helped me achieve in a short time frame. I found it extremely difficult to upload your work after unit 1. the capacity was too small and it would have been easier to track if the set up was the same as unit 1. each question to have a subsection to upload too. the most frustrating part was never actually having a conversation with my trainer. Most the time it felt like i was talking to an ai bot as a question was always answered with another question. if we were able to verbally discuss any queries it would take less than 2 mins rather than having to wait for replies days later. – How would you describe our performance overall?

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed that your experience fell short of expectations. There are indeed limitations to the amount of evidence for Unit 2 that can be uploaded on the site and we have been aware of that. Pictures and larger files can be sent via Dropbox, email and Google Drive. However, we have consequently changed to presentation of evidence for each outcome rather than the whole lot at once and this has now resolved the problem.

When we send out your access details on a welcome email, we also give you all the information you need for making direct contact with us as we have trainers available on the phone and Zoom/Teams. Unfortunately, you made no contact with us and we were unable to offer you that extra support as we were unaware this was your preference. Many learners are happy to work through a self-paced course, getting feedback within 48 hours, as this means they can access outside working hours. Whenever you call us, you will always be speaking to a qualified tutor who can answer your queries.

Supported throughout the course speedy feedback same day or next day even at weekends and bank holidays. I think that the course is fine, however, the student essentially teaches the course to themselves. The tutors provide good feedback which helps to direct the learning and assessment competition. I noticed that I was given the same feedback as one of my peers, although this is probably due to the high volume of students it is disheartening and not personal to the personal development of the students. – How would you describe our performance overall?

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry you did not enjoy your AET course with us as the majority of our students are very happy and most of our students come from referrals. Other testimonials will confirm that we work with students on an individual and personal basis and they do receive all the support they need. Asynchronous learning, which is what we provide, means that learners can watch, listen and read content in their own time and work through at their own pace. Research also shows that this is the best way for online learners to make progress.

Very supportive and things explained in a way I could understand. Love how things where broken down over number of days. I choose to do it over a month as was worried a week wouldn’t be enough but by it being broken down this way it made it easier for me and exactly what I needed to do. It would of been achievable over a week no problem but a month worked very well for me with work etc I could just slip things in when I had the time without feeling rushed or under pressure. – How would you describe our performance overall?
